There’s no such thing as no room to stand at American Hall. The new three story Midtown venue is over the top in the best ways possible.
Brought to you by Willy and Keith Reichenbach of Reichenbach Hall fame, American Hall features (you guessed it) American everything and it makes their other beer hall seem like a speakeasy. The space is big enough to host 600 patrons and has three different bars, an arcade, and a restaurant.
All three bars have about a dozen draft and bottled beers and a cocktail menu, which features themed drinks like Caramel Apple Pie (tequila, butterscotch schnapps, apple cider, lemon juice) and Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ (bourbon, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, citrus ale, barbecue sauce).
The food menu is similar, with American favorites like fried chicken wings, sandwiches and burgers. There’s also oversized portions of meatloaf, spaghetti and meatballs, chili, and bacon mac and cheese on offer.
But despite the menu, the decor is pretty muted, save for a painted American flag behind one of the bars. The arcade bar is equipped with classic video games, pool, and foosball tables. There’s plenty of TVs dotting the walls and enough seating for everyone.
American Hall, is now open from Monday to Wednesday from 11:30 am to 11 pm, and until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
