Pucker up for the Sixth Annual “Sour’d in September” Festival
Feeling the need for boozy weekend plans? Take a day trip this Sunday and get your tart on at the Sixth Annual Sour’d in September!
Hosted annually by the Captain Lawrence Brewing Company (located in Elmsford, NY), Sour’d in September is a one of a kind festival that brings together some of the finest sour ales on the market. Featuring favorites from local breweries Other Half, Five Boroughs, KCBC, Big aLICe, and more, it’s the perfect spot to get your hands on all the latest, acidic drinks you crave, all while getting to know the beer representatives that crafted them!
With the purchase of a General Admission ticket ($65 each, not including fees/tax), you’ll have entry into the festival from 2-6 p.m., surrounded by all the draft sours your little tastebuds could desire. With the purchase of VIP tickets ($80 each, not including fees/tax), not only will you gain access to enter the festival an hour earlier, but you also get a snazzy VIP sample glass.
There’s also a discounted rate available with $10 off tickets, all with the purchase of a minimum of 5 or more.
Amongst all the drinking and sour faces, on-site food will be available for purchase through the Captain Lawrence’s kitchen, along with dancing and live music performances by The Brighton Beat, Black Tie Brass Band, and Red, White & Brews.
It’s also worth noting that since this is a beer festival, all attendees must be 21+ with valid ID present, which means no kids! But don’t worry about drinking and driving, if you’re staying local, there are Designated Drivers onsite!
