Cheers for Local Beers at Blocktoberfest 2019

NYC beer lovers, rejoice! Blocktoberfest Brooklyn 2019 is upon us!

Hosted every fall by the NYC Brewers Guild, this sixth-annual backyard bash is the place to be for all things local craft beer, taking place this upcoming Saturday 9/28 afternoon in The Well’s (Williamsburg) spacious backyard.

28 of NYC’s nearly 40 breweries are slated to make an appearance, bringing with them 60+ beers for festival-goers to sample. The brews include crowd favorites from Coney Island Brewery, Sixpoint, Other Half, Rockaway Brewing, LIC Beer Project, and more.

You can also up your sample size and get 12 oz. pours in exchange for three tickets each, as opposed to the standard 4 oz. pour per ticket.

While one could entertain oneself with the 60+ beers alone, festivities also include DJ sets by BierWax’s Chris Maestro and Interboro’s Jesse Ferguson, plus yard games and tasty treats for purchase from Pie Culture Pizza, Empanada Papa, and DaleView Biscuits & Beer.

General admission tickets are available now through midnight on September 27th, starting at a surprisingly affordable price of $14. Packages with the addition of pre-sale beer tickets are also available, with $24 for 5 beer tickets, and $35 for 15 beer tickets.

Day of admission is $20 at the entrance, with beer tickets available 4 for $10. But never fear, you can buy additional beer tickets throughout the festival if needed.
