If you need something to distract you from the drunk college kids and (sadly) adults stumbling past you on the street wearing half of the poorly conceived costume they spent weeks thinking of, here’s another twist on a classic to sip while you elegantly judge the slovenly masses on All Hallow’s Eve.
The daiquiri is a rock solid classic, but this variation flips its summery brightness on its head and adds a nice fall warmth.
2 oz. Spiced Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
.50 oz Pear Brandy
.50 oz Cinnamon Syrup
Shake with ice and double strain into a coupe.
To make cinnamon syrup, cook cinnamon sticks with a half and half mix of water and sugar.
